Dr. Emil Abdulhayoglu M.D. | Interventional Nephrologist

Dr. Emil Abdulhayoglu, commonly known as Dr. Emil, is a Board-Certified nephrologist with over 15 years of experience in performing interventional dialysis access procedures. He holds certification from the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN), demonstrating his proficiency in these specialized procedures.


Dr. Emil grew up in the Boston, MA area and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University. He completed his medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine, followed by an internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and nephrology training at the University of Michigan.


Dr. Emil has a diverse professional background, having worked in various locations across the United States. He spent four years in Atlanta, GA, collaborating closely with radiologists and vascular surgeons to transform a struggling clinic. He then spent nearly 11 years in Houston, TX, serving as the medical director of two independent vascular centers. Prior to this, he was the Medical Director of a large outpatient dialysis center in Columbia, SC, while also maintaining a thriving general nephrology practice.


Currently, Dr. Emil is the solo interventionalist at the FKP Tampa Ambulatory Surgical Center, where he is committed to providing excellent care to patients and educating the community about vascular access management.
